Paul has been involved in the building industry for over 30 years. He started at the bottom of the ladder as a laborer for a nationally known home builder. After roughly 7 years in the new-build industry and over four hundred homes later, he decided it was time for a change; he started Paulson’s in 1996. Paul likes the challenge that comes with remodeling existing structures. He also enjoys the challenges that come with being a business owner because he has the freedom to set high company standards of quality in craftsmanship, scheduling and most importantly in taking care of your home. Preserving and enhancing what already exists is key to the company values Paul has established: improving lives by improving homes. (SM)
Paulson’s is a professional, full service, remodeling, renovation, and restoration company. Paul has worked hard to ensure the growth and success of Paulson’s and to provide clients with the best possible products and service. We are dedicated to excellence in quality and service as proven by Paul’s personal commitment to the company. Paul is a member of several professional organizations and has achieved several prestigious designations including the Certified Remodeler (CR) designation from NARI (National Association for the Remodeling Industry) as well as the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) designations of CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler) and CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist). He has also earned the “Certified Green Professional” designation through NAHB. Having completed NAHB’s Train- the-Trainer course, he is now certified to teach University of Housing courses. In 2009, Paul earned the GMR (Graduate Master Remodeler) designation from NAHB. He is the first and only designee in Michigan and one of only a handful nationwide.
Paul enjoys using his expertise in remodeling, renovation, and restoration to help people get more enjoyment and value from their homes. He spends his free time with his family engaging in camping and racing activities. Paul also enjoys reading and spends much time continuing his education and keeping up to date on new developments in the remodeling industry.
