Walnut St. Historic Restoration
This 1846 Greek Revival house is among Howell’s oldest & was the home to the prominent citizen George W. Lee. This home has a Michigan Historical Marker. The covered front porch was in bad shape & in need of repairs. We visited the Howell Archives & located historic photos of this old house. The porch roof was missing its original decorative railing. We replaced the rotted joists & floor. We crafted custom decorative railing to match the old photograph. We primed all the parts & pieces in our shop & the owners will paint it all themselves at a later date. We took great pride in restoring this old home to its former glory. It turned out great! How can we help you with your historic renovation?
